The training takes approximately 8-10 hours, but your trainer will be available to you until you feel comfortable with everything you need to learn. During this time you will learn to make everything offered at our parties. The byproduct of learning this is that you will have a sample or two (or three) of everything on your price cards. The main company provides the product that you use to create your samples. This way, you do not deplete your starter kit before holding your first party.
Our consultant actually learns all jewelry making techniques and finishes off all of the jewelry herself. This is the most fun part. You do not finish it off at the party, unless the party is small and you wish to save yourself the time later on. What you do is cash them out, bag their items up (with the sales slip telling you their wrist size or the length they want their necklace) and take it home with you. Over the next few days, you finish off their orders and return them to the hostess for distribution. This makes for a faster turn around time than most in-home parties have.
We teach basic design techniques that prevent you from making mistakes. When new product comes out, we tell you what other beads might look nice with them. You are always encouraged to correspond with our other consultants. They know what looks good together as well as what the guests are making this year.
Behind our password protection is a section for our consultant's eyes only. This area gives you a play-by-play of our parties, instructions on how to get one started, and suggestions as to what you say to guests to get them out of their seats and gathering beads. That is just a tiny amount of what awaits you behind the password. We have an on-line store that is easy to use, printable forms and flyers, promotional suggestions as well as sales and marketing ideas.
