Bio:
My name is Nancy Harding and I live in Clermont, FL with my husband, Jerry, and 2 children, daughter, Jessica (9), and son, Michael (20). Michael is away at college (Florida State).
I chose to join the DBY team after researching other jewelry design companies. DBY is the best by far and everyone I've talked to has been so helpful. I love jewelry and have been wanting to design and make my own. My daughter is another reason I wanted to start this business, so we could have a fun hobby and share these memories. I'm looking forward to sharing this business opportunity with others and meeting lots of new friends.

Hostess tips:
This is your day to have fun with your friends. It is best not be in the kitchen cooking as guests are arriving. If you heat up hors d'oeuvres, time them to come out of the oven at least five minutes before your guests are to arrive. I will gladly get the door for any early arrivals.
If you wish to serve a dinner or brunch to your friends, schedule that first and I will come to set up a half hour before you wish the jewelry party to begin.
Favorite party snack or drink:
Simple snacks are best for the party. No messy finger foods! A nice vegetable or fruit tray and maybe some cookies or brownies would be perfect.
I like to serve different drinks depending on the time of day. Here in Florida, iced tea or iced coffee is always refreshing! Here’s an excellent recipe for iced coffee.
Iced Coffee
6-8 cups strong coffee
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
Combine brewed coffee and sweetened condensed milk in a large pitcher. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice.
TIP- Use leftover coffee to make coffee ice cubes with. Then you have the chill without getting watered down.
Peanut Butter Cremes
1/4 cup confectioner's sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup Eagle Brand condensed milk
1cup peanut butter
Combine all & stir well. Drop by teaspoonful on to waxed paper and chill. |
