My name is Trista Fraser, and I live in Edgerton, MN with my husband, Jason, and 3 children, daughter Jade, son Tristan and daughter Kresley.
I joined the DBY team in July of 2007, and I am very excited about this new opportunity and offering this amazing experience to the women in my area.
I chose to join the DBY team because it seemed like such a fresh and new idea. Not such a "home party", but more the "girls night out" that we all want/need occasionally. I could not have been more right! The party consists of a few moments of needed information to get you started and then you're off!! Uninterrupted creativity and catching up with the girls.
Specializing In:
Reinventing the term "home party" (it's not a dirty word anymore), and helping guests create jewelry that is truly designed and created by them, reflecting their own personality in each piece.
Hostess tips:
KEEP IT SIMPLE!!! Never forget that the whole point of this is to have fun and enjoy your friends. Do not make it so much work that you are too tired or unable to do that!!!
Call everyone on your invitation list before you give it to me. This gives you a chance to talk with them about the party and personally invite them so they can save the date. Make a 2nd call 2 days before your party, to the people that have not RSVP'd. We are all very busy and it may be that they simply forgot. A friendly reminder from you will put it fresh in their minds. If someone is not attending, make sure to ask if they would like to book a party. Each booking will bring your hostess benefits a little higher and, even better, give you another "girls night out" to enjoy!!!
Snacking Suggestions:
Again, please keep it simple. A plate of a few different cheeses and crackers, a relish tray, cookies, Chex Mix and chocolates are just a few suggestions that make great snacks.
That is all you need, just a little something to munch on while you visit. Since this is a hands-on party, please stay away from foods that will leave messy fingers.
